Betty Jean Darda Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Jean Darda of Hillsboro, Illinois, who passed away on April 23, 2024 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Betty departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of our hearts. Though Betty may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Jerry Darda and Ethel Darda (Settle); her brother Jerry Darda; her sister-in-law Ruth Darda; and her niece Nancy Darda.
She is survived by : her nephew David Darda (Patty) of Ellensburg, WA; and her great-nephews, Joe Darda, Zack Darda and Sam Darda.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Oak Grove Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or to the Historical Society of Montgomery County.
