She was predeceased by: her parents, Estie Denver and Grace Minnie Blankenship (Roach); and her siblings, William Blankenship, Gary Blankenship and Virginia "Ginny" Howard. She is also survived by 7 stepsons, 1 stepdaughter.

The family asks for memorials to be directed to the Montgomery County Cancer Assn.
