He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul R. Altenberger and Bertha M. Altenberger (Bost); and his siblings, Roger Altenberger (Donna) and Bernetta Owen. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Altenberger (Larrison) of Hillsboro; his children, Jeff Altenberger of Morrisonville, Shawn Altenberger (Lahys) of Hillsboro and Tammy Lewis (Troy) of Morrisonville; his grandchildren, Heather Segrest (Shane), Heath Lehnen (Lauren), Lucas Altenberger, Hunter Lyerla (Lakota Page), Logan Altenberger and Brenden Lewis; and his great grandchildren, Meghan Lehnen, Rilynne Segrest, Rayna Segrest and Abby Lehnen. He is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews.
