He is survived by : his children, Scott Thomson of Divernon, IL and Michelle Thomson of Hillsboro, IL; his grandchildren, Autumn Smith, Isaiah Gates, John Thomson, Sonya Thomson, Renee Thomson and Crystal Thomson; and his sisters, Marcia Soper (Jim) of New Mexico and Mary Ellen Brown of Springfield, IL..
