He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Lee Smith and Norma Ruth Smith; and his siblings, Terry Ruth Casteel and Michael Lee Smith. He is survived by: his wife Mary J. Smith; his children, Aprill Downen (Timothy) and Mark Jacob Smith; and his siblings, Diana Crick (Brad) and Donald Smith (Ronica). He is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McKinley Avenue Baptist Church (410 W Sloan St, Harrisburg, IL 62946). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family invites you to honor Marks love of sports by donating to his grandchildren's sports program's. Faith Bible Christian Academy and Hillsboro Sports Association and envelopes will be available at the church.
