It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard D. Cole Sr. of Hillsboro, Illinois, born in Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on June 7, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Lawrence Cole and Gertrude Cole (Nichols); his wife Ruby George; his daughter Sandra; and his siblings, Rosie, Sonny, Butch, Mildred and Mary.

He is survived by : his children, Richard D. Cole Jr. (Mary) of Witt and Tina Cole of Gillespie; his grandson Shane Cole of Litchfield; his sister Frances Mayberry of Witt; and his pet Layla. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
