With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen M. Whitmore of Hillsdale, Illinois, who passed away on April 5, 2022 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Lloyd Hanna and Grace Hanna (Brennan); her husband Lloyd Whitmore; and her brothers, Charles and Harry Hanna.

She is survived by : her children, Jane Helke of Orion, IL and Allen Whitmore of Joslin, IL; her grandchildren, Bryan Helke (Kerry) and Kristin Carpenter; her great grandchildren, Benjamin, Abigail Helke, Sincere and Kasey Carpenter; and her sisters, Nancy Wolf (Robert) of Erie, IL and Mary Ropp (Lantz) of Geneseo, IL..
