With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Griffin (Hillsdale, Illinois), born in Moline, Illinois, who passed away on March 26, 2020 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Griffin and Ruth Griffin (Hofstetter); his siblings, Darrell Griffin and Dorothy Smith; and his daughter Sandy.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Kay Ivers; his daughters, Connie Misfeldt (Mark) of Hillsdale, Brenda Kirk (Lee) of Davenport and Sue Howe (John) of LeClaire; his grandchildren, T. J., Tara, Tricia, Bryce, Katelyn, Mitchell and Tyler; and his siblings, Donna Goodwin (Art) of Scales Mound, Ila Gober of East Moline, Linda Papoccia (Bob) of Silvis, Sally Thompson (Jerry) of Colona, Debbie Cox (Arlan) of Port Byron and Richard Griffin of Port Byron. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
