With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lila A. Stout of Hillsdale, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Lila left this world on June 24, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Kincaid and Viola Kincaid (Seams); her husband Duane Stout; and her siblings, Lois Wells, Dale, Leslie and Bradley Kincaid.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Ellis (Bobby) of East Moline and Alan Stout (Diana) of Hillsdale; her grandchildren, Ryan Ellis (Andrea), Courtney Mills (John), Chris Ellis, Aaron Ellis (Jane), Marc Ellis (Leonna), Brandon Ellis and Jasmine Smith; and her sister-in-law Barb Kincaid.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Schroder Mortuary - Silvis (701 1st Ave, Silvis, IL 61282). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at the Greenview Memorial Gardens (1201 Avenue of the Cities, East Moline, IL 61244).
Memorials may be made to Hillsdale United Methodist Church.
