She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan and Irinea; and her sister Bertha Morales. She is survived by: her husband Carlos Salgado; her children, Jorge Salgado (Norma), Mario Salgado (Andrea), Maria Salgado, Roberto Salgado, Carlos Salgado Jr. (Nandini Barua), Ruben Salgado (Anita) and Giovanni Salgado (Hana Mohamed); her grandchildren, Mario Jr., Anthonny, Ixtian, Giselle, Roberto Jr., Alexandra, Uriel, Yasari, Carlos Jr., Jorge Jr., Sophia, Samantha, Santiago, Zara and Nabil; and her siblings, Salvador Morales, Elfega Morales and Teresa Morales.
