She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Cernicek and Bessie Cernicek. She is survived by: her daughter Carol; and her children-in-law, Bart Burger and Alice Vogel. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hursen Funeral Home & Crematory (4001 Roosevelt Rd, Hillside, IL 60162). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 at 12:45 PM at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery (1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60162).
