He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Beth Blackwell (Mark), Gail Park (Pat) and Greg Metzger (Quyen); his father Ernst; his grandchildren, Rebecca Pinchuk (Andrei), Mary Blackwell (Julian Smyth), Sarah Pekkala (Ville), Caitlin Davidson (Zach), Connor Park, Neil Park (Haley), Anna Park, Eric Park, Ella Howell (Gage), MyLan Metzger, Tai Metzger and LeAnh Metzger; his great grandchildren, Katherine Pinchuk, Nicholas Pinchuk, Leah Smyth, Robert Davidson, Theo Davidson, Evie Park, Lilith Park and Lucy Park; his siblings, Shirley Wuthrich (late Joel), Donald Metzger (late Mary Jane), Della Luthi (late Don), Ella Martin (John), Helen Anliker (late Leonard), Alvin Metzger, Arthur Metzger (Kristy), Virgil Metzger (Mary), Glen Metzger (Joyce), Arlene Grimm (Rodney), Harvey Metzger (Mary), Rodney Metzger (Polly), Ida Kellenberger (Keith) and Harold Metzger (Patricia); and his wife Lois.
