He was predeceased by: his daughter JoAnn Jones (Jerold); his parents, Augustino Castaldo and Josephine Castaldo; his siblings, Augustino, John, Ambrose and Marie Cappelletti (late John); and his grandfather Baccala.

He is survived by: his children, RoseMarie Smith (Gary) and Dominick Jr. (Carol); his grandchildren, Tiffany, Tammy, Tia, Jordan, JoAnn, Jerold, Joshua and Joseph; and his wife Charlotte.
