He was predeceased by: his wife Bette; and his granddaughter Hannah Hoffenkamp. He is survived by: his children, Edward G. (Jennifer), David W. (Jennifer), Gary A. (Lisa), Lori Lechelt and Amy Hoffenkamp (John); his grandchildren, John, Rachel Render (Michael), Jake, Sarah, Hailey Helmich (Drew), Adam, Alexa Lechelt, Katlyn White (Ron), Kenady Dean (Andrew Gaunt), Koby Dean, Haven, Jordan and Kendall; his great grandchildren, Karson, Taya and Elijah White; his siblings-in-law, Rita Lechelt and Peg Scott; and his pet Mace.
