She is survived by: her daughter Erin; her parents, Debra Carter and Eric Carter of Villa Park, IL; her siblings, Tavoriss Robinson (Natasha) of Cleveland, Brian Carter of Chicago, IL, Cortez James of Chicago, IL, Evan Carter of Villa Park, IL and LaShay Cozart of Griffith, Indiana; her uncles, Richard Alexander of Homewood, Ronald Jones of Louisville and Michael Dozier (Fanya) of Tampa, Florida; her nieces and nephews, Amare, Elijah, Roman, Alyssia, Naje, Nya and Suelina; and her great-nephew Kaden. She is also survived by relatives and many, many friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM at the Journey Church (800 S Rohlwing Rd, Lombard, IL 60101).
