She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Umberto A. Turano; her daughters, Gena, Jennifer (Scott Golchert) and Jessica (Mike Bayley); her father Robert; her grandchildren, Donny, Luca and Jack; her cousin Lynn Vokoun; her siblings-in-law, Giancarlo (Karen) and Renato (late Patricia); and her sibling's children, Lisa, Renee, Mario, Joe, Giancarlo and Anthony.

Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Russo's Hillside Chapels (4500 Roosevelt Rd, Hillside, IL 60162). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John of the Cross Catholic Church (5005 Wolf Rd, Western Springs, IL 60558). An entombment was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery (1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60162).
