She was predeceased by: her parents, Mario Luis and Jesusa San Luis. She is survived by: her daughters, Eleonor Smith (Oscar) of Illinois, Elizza (Christopher) of Indiana and Carla Anderson of Florida; her grandchildren, Alexa Rubio (Hector), Anthony Smith, Harrison Wesner, Mitchell Wesner and Veronica Wesner; her former husband Emmanuel Verder; and her son Jesus. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
