With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean P. Di Orio (Hillside, Illinois), who passed away on October 27, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Jean farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Jean is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Angelo Di Orio; and her sister Nancy Samaritano (late Sam). She is survived by: her son Rocco Di Orio (Mary Kay); and her brother Carl Giangreco (Mary Jo).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Russo's Hillside Chapels (4500 Roosevelt Rd, Hillside, IL 60162). A prayer will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
