He is survived by: his children, Anthina Sawyer, Jamirria Hathorne and Janeicia Williams (Myles); his grandchild Ryan Sawyer; and his siblings, Betty Jean Carter, Renee Patterson (late Jimmy), Pierre Hathorne, DeMario Beamon (Hillary), Ronny Walker, Reginald Walker, Shontell Walker and Regina Walker.

Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Russo's Hillside Chapels (4500 Roosevelt Rd, Hillside, IL 60162). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
