He is survived by: his children, James Darrell Bryant, TaShaunda Gamble (Carlton) and Joseph M. Baskerville III (Ebonee); his grandson Joseph Mark Baskerville IV; and his nephew Retired Lieutenant Colonel James W. (Williams).
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Broadview Missionary Baptist Church (2100 S 25th Ave, Broadview, IL 60155). A burial was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at the Oak Ridge Cemetery (4301 Roosevelt Rd, Hillside, IL 60162).
