She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Cephus and Beulah Raiford; her grandchild Dani Sommerville; and her siblings, Edna, Hattie, Dora, Irene of Joeanna, I. D., Ophelia, James, Wilbert, Willie Lee, Bonnie, Andrew and King.
She is survived by: her daughters, LaJuandrea Denise Sommerville (Barry) and Sherri A. Walker; her grandson Kevin Sconiers, Jr. (Kimberly); her great grandchild Kevin Sconiers III; and her brother Claude Raiford (Mary). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM and from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at 9046 S Cottage Grove Ave, Chicago, IL 60619. A committal service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 2:15 PM to 2:30 PM at the Glen Oak Cemetery (4401 Roosevelt Rd, Hillside, IL 60162).
