We bid farewell to Jovette Basile (Hillside, Illinois), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 25, 2025 at the age of 81. Jovette touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond Basile; and her parents, Luc Zamor and Georgette Zamor. She is survived by: her children, Claire-Marie Astrid Basile, Barbara Magnus (Dennis) and Christine Basile; her granddaughters, Natasha Daphney Ousley (Mikeal) and Gabrielle Magnus; her great grandchildren, Nahla-Signe, Mikeal Jr., Nyrobi and Miila Belle; and her siblings, Marie-Andre Barthelemy (Douge), Yola-Jacqueline Mompremier (Esope), Chanta Ceant (Jean-Henri), Magda Exceus, Fritz Schmidt, Luc Zamor Jr., Carlos Volcy, Jaques Volcy and Pierre Richard Volcy.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Russo's Hillside Chapels (4500 Roosevelt Rd, Hillside, IL 60162). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 8:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at 1845 S 9th Ave, Maywood, IL 60153. A burial will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60162).
