She was predeceased by: her child Danielito Michel; her parents, Jesus Gutierrez and Inocencia Gutierrez; and her siblings, LaZaro Gutierrez (late Longina), Juvencio Gutierrez (late Catalina), Pascual Gutierrez Zavala and Armando Gutierrez Zavala.

She is survived by: her children, Pepe Michel (Rose), Raul Michel (Socorro), Gabino Michel (Julia), Mony Garcia (late Alfredo), Elfy Payan (Romulo), Andres Michel (Chapa), Lita Mendez (Luis), Moy Michel (Nancy) and Cuko Michel (Yamin); and her siblings, Esperanza Michel (Abdon) and Carmen Gutierrez Zavala.
