She was predeceased by : her parents, Natividad Galut and Angel Galut; and her brothers, Rogelio and Roberto. She is survived by : her husband Benjamin Pura; her children, Ray Pura, Roy Pura and Rosemarie Leurck; her grandchildren, Morgan, Joshua, Joseph, Peter, Kate, Alexis, Samuel and Abbey; and her siblings, Amante, Reynaldo, Virginia, Anita and Condrado.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hursen Funeral Home (4001 Roosevelt Rd, Hillside, IL 60162). A prayer was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 8:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Name Cathedral (735 N State St, Chicago, IL 60654).
