He was predeceased by: his wife Caroline; his daughter Jane Gassen (late Richard); his parents, Orlando F. Coryell and Lillian Coryell; and his siblings, David Michael Coryell, Carol Brown (late William) and Joyce Sandvik (late Lars).
He is survived by: his daughter Catherine Rebecca Carney (Jeffrey) of Ephraim, UT; his friend Cynthia Hojnacki of Niles, IL; and his granddaughters, Virgina Giles (Ken) of Ft. Lupton, CO and Deirdre Carney (McKayla Vance) of Tonawanda, NY.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hursen Funeral Home & Crematory (4001 Roosevelt Rd, Hillside, IL 60162). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the Hursen Funeral Home (4001 Roosevelt Rd, Hillside, IL 60162). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at the West Lawn Cemetery (500 N Maple St, Hagerstown, IN 47346).
