We are sad to announce that, on February 12, 2022, at the age of 92, Rene Marcelin (Hillside, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Maria Rosa Marcelin; his brother Rolando Marcelin (Tola); and his niece Juana Esther Concepcion. He is survived by: his siblings, Mario Marcelin, Oscar Marcelin, Elsa Lopez and Eva Caballero; his cousin Nancy Marcelin; and his nieces and nephews, Juana Costales (Manuel A.), Lourdes Monte (Todd), Leonel A. Torrejon (Ana), Eduardo Concepcion (Esperanza), Alina Concepcion, Reynaldo Concepcion (Ana), Angela Rosa Concepcion, Rolando Marcelin, Nicholas Lopez, Ivan Lopez, Miriam Caballero, Eva Caballero and Robert Marcelin.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
