He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Grandt and Cecila Grandt; his brother Donald Grandt (Peggy); and his siblings-in-law, Larry Hartigan, Rosemary O'Connor (John) and Sylvester Hartigan (Dee).
He is survived by: his children, James Grandt (Steve Vasquez), Chris Grandt and Sandra King (Daniel); his parents-in-law, John and Helen; his grandchildren, Cody Campbell, Grant King and Mary King; his great grandchildren, Eliana Campbell, Jayden Campbell and Caleb Campbell; his siblings, Katie Leftwich (late Jim) and Michael Grandt (Teri); and his siblings-in-law, Martin Hartigan (late Patricia), Harry Hartigan, Anna Sweeney (Michael), Frank Hartigan (Rene' Dagenais) and Thomas Hartigan.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Russo's Hillside Chapels (4500 Roosevelt Rd, Hillside, IL 60162). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
