Corinne Cherwonick Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Corinne Cherwonick of Hinckley, Illinois, who passed away on October 27, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Corinne shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Corinne farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Stahnke and Mildred Stahnke (Mensik); her husband William Cherwonick; her son Eric Sorensen; her brother Elmer Stahnke Jr.; and her great grandchild Harper Sorensen.
She is survived by: her daughter Cary Sorensen of Naples, FL; her great grandchild Nathan Sorensen; her sister Linda Biagi (David) of Eugene, OR; and her sister-in-law Penny Stahnke. She is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
