He was predeceased by: his mother Loretta Asselborn; and his brothers-in-law, Frank Medernach and Chris Cotter. He is survived by: his father Harold Asselborn; his wife Donna of Ozzie's Greenhouse; his children, Todd Asselborn (Cindy), Heather Edwards (Bradley) and Dawn Waugh (Darin); and his siblings, Kay Medernach, Ron Asselborn (Judi), Donna Dieter (Ron), Dean Asselborn (Patti) and Debbie Cotter. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the DeKalb County Veterans Assistance Commission in honor of Lawrence's service to his country.
