He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Doyle and Martha Alice Fidler (Stickler); his wife Carol; his sons, Chad Arron Fidler and George Alan Fidler; and his brother Don Fidler.
He is survived by: his daughters, Angela Fidler Hopper (Mark) of Mattoon, IL and Nicki Fidler-Lawrence (Adam) of Charleston, IL; his grandchildren, Chelsea Fidler, Callie Lawrence, Tyler Gabbard, Jame Talbert and Katelyn Fidler; his pet Hopper; and his siblings, James Edward Fidler of Arcola, IL, Marilyn Reece (Bruce) of Tuscola, IL and George Fidler of Hindsboro, IL. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Edwards Funeral Home (221 E Main St, Arcola, IL 61910). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
