She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Smejkal and Beatrice Smejkal. She is survived by: her husband James C. Cook; her children, James S. Cook (Caroline) and Pamela Marie Lins (Michael); her grandchildren, Benjamin, Joshua Cook, Connor James and Abigail Marie Lins; her sister Ruth Ann Whittaker (Donald S.); and her sister-in-law Joanne H. Nichols (Steven).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hallowell & James Funeral Home (1025 W 55th St, Countryside, IL 60525). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Christ Church of Oak Brook (501 Oak Brook Rd, Oak Brook, IL 60523).
