He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Antoinette Torino and Giuseppe Messina; his wife Philomena; his children, Antoinette LaPonte, Josephine Crnjak, Frank Messina (Tina) and Tina Welch (Rick); his grandchildren, Alycia LaPonte Frosolone (Johnathon), Emilia, Stefan Crnjak, Maxum Messina (Constance), Mitchel Messina (Kiya), Maley Messina, Erica and Bridget Welch; and his siblings, Pio, Frank, Mario, Julia and Sam.
