James Walter Humay Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Walter Humay of Hinsdale, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 18, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bea and Lefty; and his wives, Marlene Humay and Nancy Voss Humay. He is survived by: his siblings, Dan (Pat) and Joyce; his children, Jim, Meg (Dan Sheahan) and Joe; his grandchildren, Alex, Yulia, Nina, Maximus, Cannon, Tessa and Cason; his extended family, Jenna and Kenny Julian; and also, Elisa, Will and Lia.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sullivan Funeral Home & Cremation Services (60 S Grant St, Hinsdale, IL 60521). A Mass will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church (306 W 4th St, Hinsdale, IL 60521).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Jim's memory to either The Les Turner ALS Foundation (https://lesturnerals.org) or The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
