He was predeceased by : his parents, Raymond Gooch and Ruth Gooch; his wife Audrey; his sister Priscilla Phillips; and his daughter Nancy Bass.

He is survived by : his daughter Kathleen Leonard; his granddaughters, Amy Jones (Chris), Katherine Hedman (Matt), Melissa Becker (Dan) and Kimberly Hanson (Corey); his great grandchildren, Alex, Lucy Jones, Greta, Nels Hedman, Zeb, Isaac Becker, Samuel and Audrey Hanson; and his sister Shirlee Gooch. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
