As we bid Lei farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Lei is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parent Xiaoming Wang. She is survived by: her mother Dinghua Xuan; her husband Qing Xu (Charles); and her daughter Isabella Xu.
She cofounded a book club during COVID which met every Friday evening, starting out with C. S. Lewis' Mere Christianity and then N. T. Wright's Matthew For Everyone.
