In loving memory of Desta M Ahern of Hoffman Estates, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who departed this world on June 26, 2025 at the age of 95. She is survived by: her children, Eileen Cusack (Jim), Mary Adams, Martha Heideman (Jim), Susan Hensley (Wayne), Joseph Ahern, Nancy Marinaro (Ed) and Jack Ahern (Nikki); her sister Rosemary Dunker; her husband Daniel Ahern; her son-in-law Tom; and her siblings, Larry, Raymond, Joseph, Jimmy, Joan, Katherine (Del) and Noreen (Tom). She is also survived by nieces and nephews, and her 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Lauterburg-Oehler Funeral Home (2000 E Northwest Hwy, Arlington Heights, IL 60004). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Saint Emily Catholic Church (1400 E Central Rd, Mt Prospect, IL 60056).
