She was predeceased by: her husband John A. Michas; her son Steven Michas; her parents, Howard Sieck and Mildred Sieck; her brother Kerry Sieck; her brothers-in-law, Dr. George Michas and Thomas Michas; and her nephews, Craig and Wayne W. Sieck.
She is survived by: her daughter Pam Katchen (Rob); her granddaughters, Samantha Bertus (Beau), Allyson Powers (Jeshua) and Maddy Katchen; her great grandchild Boaz Bertus; her brother Wayne Sieck (Marilyn); her sisters-in-law, Mary Sieck and Nina Michas; her nieces and nephews, Dr. Elizabeth Michas (Gregg Mullen), Dr. Paul Michas (Julie), Dr. Catherine Michas and Dr. Andrew Michas (Francie); and her great-niece Elise Sieck.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 13th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Holy Family Church (2515 W Palatine Rd, Inverness, IL 60067). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 13th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations my be made in Jayne's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital (https://www.stjude.org) .
