He was loved and cherished by many people including : his daughters, Kimberly Ann Szymanski (Brian) and Heather Haycock-Kopnick; his grandchildren, Brittney Hucher (Elliot), Brett Szymanski, Alexis Szymanski and Pierce Szymanski; his sibling Lynn Chrisner; his nephew Eric Chrisner (Sarah-Jane Baliotti); his niece Meghan Keefe (Jaime); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Callan, Sadie, Lenna and Brooks Keefe; and his grandsons, Jake and Beau.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Morizzo Funeral Home (2550 Hassell Rd, Hoffman Estates, IL 60169). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Morizzo Funeral Home and Cremation Services (2550 Hassell Rd, Hoffman Estates, IL 60169).
