He is survived by: his mother-in-law Agnes Krueger; his wife Aggie; his children, Edie Grote (Keith), Jon Boehning (Stephanie), Vicki Caves (Don) and Chris Ewald; his grandchildren, Richard Boehning (Jennifer), Stephanie Wathen (David), Stacey Frederking (Brandon), Donnie Caves (Taylor), Caitlin Ewald (Jake Robichaux), Alexa Caves, Ben Grote (Mikayla), Mitchell Ewald (Amber), Rebecca Romanchek (Gregory), Hannah Zbikowski (Tommy) and Elizabeth Boehning; and his family Rich.
