He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Takacs (Scanlon) and Joseph Michael Takacs Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Cecile; his daughter Dawn; and his sister Mary Munoz (Ray). He is also survived by seven nieces and nephews, and various other family members and friends.
