She was predeceased by: her parents, Sol Yates and Shirley Yates. She is survived by: her husband Jay Heiferman; her pets, Bennie, Larry, Bandit, Princess Leah, Bunny, Squishy, Romeo, Tootsie and Flikka; her sisters, Barbara Slivnick (David) and Beth Hunter; her in-laws, Kenneth Heiferman (Kim), Beth Heiferman, Gary Heiferman (Paul Buenvenida), Scott Heiferman and Darren Hunter; and her siblings' children, Jeremy Slivnick (Sarah), Elyssa Slivnick, Daniel Heiferman (Holly), Michael Heiferman, Jeffrey Heiferman, Lila Jane Heiferman and Wyatt Heiferman.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Temple Beit Sholom (10001 Columbia Ave, Munster, IN 46321).
