She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Joseph Hansel; her son Jimmy; her daughter-in-law Marie; her grandchildren, Matthew and Emilie; her grandson-in-law Patrick; Jessica.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Tews-Ryan Funeral Home (18230 Dixie Hwy, Homewood, IL 60430). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Homewood Memorial Garden Cemetery (600 Ridge Rd, Homewood, IL 60430).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Irma's memory to the South Suburban Humane Society or the East Hazel Crest Volunteer Fire Department, two organizations that reflect causes close to her heart.
