He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome F. Garnes and Jane V. Garnes (Tomczak). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Gergel of Chicago Heights, IL.; his children, Gregory Garnes (Kathy) and Mary Boumaiz (Bouba); and his grandchildren, Nicholas Pecci, Jade Pecci, James Garnes and Emily Garnes.
