She is survived by: her daughter Darlene Tolbert of Opelika, AL; her grandchildren, Daphne Nelms of Opelika, AL and Benjamin Nelms of Opelika, AL; her sisters, Sadie Ligon (Willie) of Auburn, AL and Betty Oliver of Opelika, AL; her nephew Demetrious Ligon of Opelika, AL; and her cousins, Walter Torbert of Auburn, AL and Johnnie Mae Tolbert of Montgomery, AL. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Andrew Chapel Church Cemetery (72 Battle Rd, Hurtsboro, AL 36860).
