She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur Hicks; her great grandchild Nicholas; and her parents, Lyman Caliban and Midred Caliban. She is survived by: her children, Barbara Prendergast and Glen Hicks (Kathy); her grandchildren, Khrissy Miceli (Frank), Colleen Pesek (Craig), Kevin Hicks (Camille), Devin Prendergast and Tim Archibald; her great grandchildren, Mia, Maddy, Frankie, Vinnie, Sonny, Craigy, Gwen and Vander; and her cousins, Bob, Betty Carlson, Harold and Lynn Madsen.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Tews-Ryan Funeral Home (18230 Dixie Hwy, Homewood, IL 60430). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at the Concordia Cemetery (6551 Calumet Ave, Hammond, IN 46324).
