He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Karen; his children, Amy (Jeff), Tom (Christy) and Dave (Sarah); his grandchildren, Tom (Peyton), Erin, Cooper, Grace, Noah, Finley and Libby; and his parents, Raymond M. Dockweiler and Marjorie Dockweiler (Hepner).
