He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Ailey and Adelia Ailey (Ulitzsch); his siblings, William Ailey, Wayne Ailey, Wanda Bull and Nancy Quakenbush; and his siblings-in-law, Gene Quackenbush, Bruce Suver and Betty Ann Ailey (Musgraves).
He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Massey (Ken) of Paxton, IL; his grandchildren, Parker Massey and Audrey Massey; and his siblings, Norman Ailey (Linda) of Ashkum, Wendell Ailey (Fiona) of Woodland, Nelda Roth (Bobby) of Watseka, Donna Suver of Onarga and Lila Hill (Larry) of Champaign. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Baier Funeral Home (102 W Oak St, Watseka, IL 60970). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 12:45 PM at the Body Cemetery (1400 N 2000 East Rd, Watseka, IL 60970).
