He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Lackey and Thelma Mae Lackey (Ervin). He is survived by: his children, Jacqueline "Jacki" Jo Gregory (Chris) of Rossville, IL and Jason Lackey (Sarah) of Indianapolis, IN; his siblings, Judith Teran of Rossville, IL, Victor Lackey of Rossville, IL and Bruce Lackey (Donna) of Danville, IL; and his grandchildren, Hannah Claire Gregory, Jacob Christopher Gregory, Owen Joseph Lackey and Mara Elizabeth Lackey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home (427 E Main St, Hoopeston, IL 60942). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made in memory of Earl to the Hoopeston Animal Rescue Team (H.A.R.T), 901 W. Main St., Hoopeston, IL 60942.
