She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Olson and Etta Blossom Olson (Hemphill); her husband William Edward Diskin; her siblings, Bonnie Wolfe (Donald), Margaret Diskin (Cyril) and Donald Olson (Jeannie); and her nephew Cortney Zimmerman.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Mikalik (Phil) of Bloomington, IL and Larry Diskin (Christina) of Chicago, IL; her siblings, Linda Zimmerman (Emery) of Hoopeston, IL and Carl Olson (Becky) of Rankin, IL; her grandchildren, Bret Diskin (Cally), Eric Diskin, Kristen Major (Mario) and Lance Mikalik; her great grandchildren, Mason Major, Kameron Major and Logan Diskin; and her great great grandchildren, Kameron Major, Jr. and Kosey Major. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 1st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home (427 E Main St, Hoopeston, IL 60942). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, May 1st 2026 at 1:15 PM at the St Anthony Catholic Church (423 S 3rd St, Hoopeston, IL 60942).
