We are sad to announce that on June 21, 2025, at the age of 70, John Roscoe Bray (Hoopeston, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Bray and John Bray; his brother Timothy J. Bray; his in-laws, Willard and Maurine Bruens; and his brother-in-law Steve Bruens.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy Bruens Bray; his siblings, Mike Bray (Tina) of Rossville and Beth Ann Knecht (Curt) of Hoopeston; his sisters-in-law, Janie Baker (Allan), Debbie Tyler (Kevin), Teresa Bruens and Jane Bray Comrie; his children, Johnny Lee Bray (Lindsey) of Springfield, Chad Bruens (Tiffany) of Oakwood, April Fowler of Danville, RaeAnn Webster of Rossville and Sierra Davis of Danville; and his grandchildren, Taylor Fowler, Paige Warren, Madisyn Bruens, Makynzie Bruens, Noah Fowler, Peyton Warren, Will Fowler, Keatyn Bruens, Piper Bray, Jorie K. Bruens, Whitney Davis and Dawson Foster. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Hoopeston Multi Agency (206 S 1st Ave, Hoopeston, IL 60942). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made in John's name to the Hoopeston Multi Agency.
